We are National Orange Popsicle Week (NOPW) and we host the NOPW Auto Show. We raise awareness of stroke in young people. Our founder had a stroke at 24. When she could first speak again, all she wanted was an orange popsicle. We use something silly, to talk about something serious. Our (all makes, all models) auto show raises funds for Ability KC. Funds raised will be used to directly impact the rehabilitation of young stroke survivors by purchasing new technology and/or equipment that is focused on stroke rehabilitation.
The Fuel House is Kansas City’s premiere automotive country club. What lies inside The Fuel House is a private automotive event space, gallery, and co-op work-space for like minded enthusiasts. Members of this private venue come from all sorts of backgrounds, ages, and diversities. However, are all united by the passion of a common idea “the art of the car.” The building once known 100 years ago as The Tiblow Mill, has a new life ahead of it in the form of cars, coffee, and community. We appreciated the support the community has given us in this project, and look forward to the future.
The Fuel House is located at:
611 Loring Ln
Bonner Springs, KS
NOPW and The Fuel House are teaming up to change lives! In 2018, Ability KC was able to purchase a brand new piece of equipment to assist young stroke survivors and their recovery. This is all thanks to your donations and involvement in the 2018 Auto Show. Join us for a fun night of food, drinks, and fine cars as we prepare for the NOPW 19 Auto Show and learn more about NOPW, Ability KC, and The Fuel House!
*Money raised at this event will be used for purchasing new equipment at Ability KC to assist young stroke survivors in their recovery.
